Antique "Romeo & Guiletta" Mezzotint by Gatja Rothe Framed and Signed. Gatja Rothe (German/ American 1935-2007). This mezzotint is pencil signed and numbered (44/100) in it's lower margin. It depicts a group of skeletal dancers against a dark background. It has a tag from Austin Galleries attached on verso. The work is house in a gilt frame with fabric border that shows some wear. The print exhibits a mat burn and foxing, lower left. The sight area measures 27" x 25" and the frame measures 37" x 35"
