Spanning from approximately 10,000 BCE to 3000 BCE, this period saw the emergence of pottery as a vital part of daily life.

Neolithic pottery was vital in early human societies’ cultural expression and identity. As one of the first forms of artistic endeavor, pottery provided a means for communities to communicate their beliefs, values, and social structures through a tangible medium.
